Diamond Education
The quality of a diamond is described using four characteristics: Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat weight. Our team will walk you through each one so you can make a confident, informed decision.
The most important factor in a diamond's brilliance. An excellent cut maximises light return and creates that unmistakable sparkle.
Graded D (colourless) to Z, most diamonds contain subtle colour. The less colour, the rarer and the more light the stone reflects.
Most diamonds contain natural inclusions invisible to the naked eye. Clarity grades help you understand what's inside your stone.
Carat is the weight of a diamond, not the size. Cut quality greatly influences how large a stone appears, regardless of carat weight.
